Baby-speak

My 3 and a half yr old son “ak” has just learnt of a new type of animal called a “limpet”.
He is very curious about this, trying to map it to something he already knows. We have the following conversation:
ak: “Mamma, so-and-so is a limpet?”
me: “No baby, he’s a human being. He’s a man”
ak: “Mans are human beings?”
me: “Yes”
ak: “Girls…?”
me: “Girls are also human beings” (smiling to myself…)
ak: “Boys also?”
me: “Yes baby, boys are also human. You are a human being”
ak: “No, I’m a trumpet”
