Role-playing

Role-playing games with 3 yr old daughter and 5 yr old son:
Son: “Mamma, I’ll be the wolf baby [substitute current favorite animal here], you be the wolf mamma”
Me: “what will Aditi be?”
Son: “She’ll be the human”
Daughter lets out a huge howl of protest – “I am not human!!!!”
Me, soothingly: “Then what are you, baby?”
Daughter: “I want to be Aditi!” accompanied by loud sobbing 😀
